Current Gallery: past ( piece)
My grandparents moved to the Mendocino Coast in the 1920's. From Scotland and an avid photographer Pappa recorded much of life on the coast. He collected copies of old photographs of local interest. These sepia copies have always fascinated me for their content [old growth redwood and the communities harvesting them]. These charcoal drawings are from these photographs.
